Who we are

AI Strategy Group is a no-profit network of entrepreneurs, experts and academics in technology and social sciences.

Our direct experience with AI has made us aware of the immense benefits achievable through technological innovation — but convinced us that the impacts on the job market must be managed with enormous care.

The rapid advancement of AI-driven technologies is accelerating the automation of both manual and intellectual labor at an unprecedented pace. Many analysts predict that, within the next decade, 20% to 60% of the global workforce could be significantly affected — if not entirely displaced — by machines.

Historically, governments tend to address problems only after they have fully emerged.
During each of the past three industrial revolutions, global employment crises have occurred, none of which were managed preventively.
Each time, this led to decades of social instability, exacting a severe yet often overlooked societal cost.

We believe that humanity must learn from past experiences and avoid repeating again this cycle of disruption: this time, the consequences could be more severe.

In previous industrial transitions, new economic needs eventually arose, creating jobs and fostering renewed prosperity. However, AI-driven automation may evolve and self-adapt so rapidly that it could absorb even the newly emerging jobs, preventing any natural recovery of human employment.

We consider it a moral imperative for those who understand these exponential dynamics to share this vision with national Governments, raising awareness of the urgent need for preventive action: establishing a continuous monitoring system for employment trends and pre-defining a set of measures that can be progressively activated as soon as job erosion begins to manifest — before it becomes irreversible.

We firmly believe that preserving employment is essential —not only for economic well-being but also for social cohesion, peace, prosperity, and the long-term stability of society.

We aim to equip Governments with concrete tools to take timely action and ensure a sustainable transition in the AI era.
